| He Never Left Me Alone I remember the day that I got saved I was happy and glad It seemed everything was perfect And nothing could ever go bad. I woke up every morning with a smile on my face A joy in my heart something that nothing could replace. I felt like this for a while then something happened inside it seemed everything was going wrong and the pain I couldn’t hide. I started wondering what went wrong and what happened to me Why I felt the way I did before Jesus set me free. He said he would never leave or forsake me, But go with me to my dying day But still I fell like a Lonely Sheep that has lost his way. Then I began to realize, NO, really, could it be Maybe it wasn’t Jesus that had left maybe it was me. I stopped suddenly in my tracks my heart racing in fear I wondered where I had left my Jesus and if my voce he could still hear. I fell down on my knees an cried out with a loud voice. I told him I was sorry that somewhere along the way I had made a bad choice. Then something amazing happened, No, could it really be, Yes, It was the same sweet Jesus that came and set me free. He said precious child where have you been, I said, I lost you, when I began to sin. Then he stretched out his arms, way out wide, and took me back in He cleansed me with his precious blood and took away my sin. So as you go through this life and you notice that Jesus is not by your side Know He cannot stay in a unclean temple and He will not be denied,. So hold onto your salvation no matter what it takes So one day we can meet our sweet Jesus face to face. |
